Plenary & Highlight Lectures

Plenary Sessions and Highlight Lectures are among the most prestigious events at IAC, drawing attention to innovative topics, breakthrough research, and cutting-edge technological advancements. Present your ideas to a large, engaged audience during the five days of the Congress.

Special Sessions (SpS)
Extended Deadline: 13 February 2026
The Special Sessions track is calling for bold, unconventional formats. We are not looking for standard lecture panels with presentations. Instead, we invite highly interactive, participatory experiences, such as:
- Fishbowl discussions
- Campfire-style debates
- Design sprints and team challenges
- Hybrid or experimental session formats
- Theatrical or competitive formats (including the Orca Bowl)
What to Include in Your Proposal
Proposals must clearly demonstrate:
- Strong audience interaction (participants do not just listen, they engage, collaborate, and challenge ideas)
- Cross-disciplinary perspectives
- A format that encourages discussion, debate, or co-creation
