IAF Distinguished Service Award (DSA)
The 2026 IAF Distinguished Service Award recognizes distinguished service by volunteers and/or staff to the activities of the Federation.
The call for nominations for the IAF Distinguished Service Award is addressed to IAF Technical or Administrative Committees' members, Delegates/members of organizations in good standing, members, and .
Nominations should contain:
- A citation (one sentence)
- A biography of the nominee including, i.e., the person鈥檚 profile, career achievements and history, education, list of publications, etc.
- 1 letter of support clearly addressing contributions of the nominee to IAF Secretariat
Selection criteria:
- Duration of nominee鈥檚 service
- Leadership in nominee鈥檚 service
- Excellence of nominee鈥檚 service
Nomination documents must be received by no later than Friday 8 of August 2025.

IAF Young Pioneer Award for 2025
The IAF Young Pioneer Award is assigned every year to one young scientist (below 30 years of age) who has significantly contributed to the advancement of the Aerospace Science.
All the Authors who qualify (see Criteria) and who wish to apply for the Award should send the selection material (see below) by e-mail beforeFriday 8 of August 2025 to the IAF Secretariat.
Nominations should contain:

- A biography of the nominee including, i.e., the person鈥檚 profile, career achievements and history, education, list of publications, etc.
- 1 letter of support clearly addressing contributions of the nominee to IAF
Selection criteria:
- Duration of nominee鈥檚 service
- Leadership in nominee鈥檚 service
- Excellence of nominee鈥檚 service
The Award consists of a medal and a certificate of citation. It will be bestowed at the Closing Ceremony of the in Sydney, Australia.
